How account email is used
Your recovery email stays private. Gearbooru uses Resend to deliver verification, recovery and account-security messages. Resend receives your address and the message, including its account link. Account email does not send archive images to Resend.
Queued messages are encrypted and cleared after sending or expiry. Temporary request and delivery records are cleaned automatically; delivery metadata is kept for up to 30 days after completion or expiry. A protected address fingerprint is retained after bounces or complaints to prevent repeat delivery. The sender address is not yet a monitored support inbox.
